Here is our review:

If you enjoy Bible study and the Book of Revelations you will enjoy reading “Revelations: Mature Look” by Maurice A. Williams an experienced writer who through years of research and with a keen insight into the book of Revelations (which fascinated him ever since he was a young boy), provides an excellent, well referenced and very interesting analysis of the intriguing, complicated and enigmatic book of Revelations. He first wrote about this in 1988 and now has a more modern version and interpretation. He begins the book from the beginning of creation and takes the reader up to present times.

I enjoyed reading this work which is very well researched by the very intelligent author. He gives the reader a thought-provoking and detailed analysis referencing his research on the many intriguing issues in Revelations and thoroughly covers seemingly all aspects of the Book. For example, he discusses the Beast (666) and the Internet and Smartphones and how easy it could be for an enigmatic figure to reach billions of people using these. He discusses the pride of Lucifer and the rest of the fallen angels and how they are influencing the present day.

The author gives the reader his well-researched views on the end days bringing in the work of Catholic author, Emmett O'Regan, who wrote, “Unveiling the Apocalypse” and uses O’Regan’s views in support of the author’s views of the final days:

“God will end this present world, judge all sovereign persons, and recreate the world where God’s will be done on Earth as it is in heaven, as Jesus taught all of us to pray for.

“When the end finally comes, if your character is shown to be contrary to God's character and your pride makes you hostile to God, you will not want to be anywhere near to God. The brilliant illumination of who God is will burn into your wretchedness like a fire. You will be shamed by how poorly you reflect the God who created you. You won't be able to endure the painful demonstration of how contrary your attitude is to the mentality of God.”

The author points out wrongful pride (the kind of pride which makes you think you are better than other people) prevents a person with inordinate self-esteem to sincerely ask for God’s forgiveness. This is the same inordinate pride that brought Lucifer down, “I think the worst agony and suffering Lucifer, and all angels and humans who join with him, will experience in hell is the realization that they always could have sought God's mercy and forgiveness if they could have conquered their pride and humbly asked for forgiveness. I think their pride is so selfishly overpowering in their egos that they will never surrender unconditionally, and they will never ask for forgiveness. God already knows they will never ask, and that's why hell is eternal.”

In all, this was an enlightening and thought-provoking read and a revelation of how we should truly conduct ourselves during our life.
